With a heart planted in the natural world, the outdoors and natural light are the obvious inclination for photography. As a member of the GenX cohort, things feel right when it's hands on and "as you see it".
Post-processing and editing was far less flexible with film, today it can run away if not checked, the thought of where AI is going absolutely horrifies me.
My aim is to always deliver natural and simple art, something I hope my photos express, subtle detail more than high impact.

My starting points were people and social worlds, the spirit, and ambience of any situation with added artistic impression. The immediacy & high speed of social media, influences the expectations of the viewer.
Growing up in a high-tech environment influences my photography, though the subjects can be the same, some of the dynamics almost need a new genre - for the viewer a higher impact, more impatient pace.
With a studio and street photography foundation, you'll see the natural world and portrait photography styles have more an art / study focus.
